Liverpool born and bred, now resides in Birkenhead close to Cammel Lairds shipyard, where 3 generations of his family once worked. His great grand father John Henry Jackson from Saltash was a master shipwright and deep sea driver. No wonder Robert has a fascination with water and the coast. Robert's last two exhibitions were mostly of Wirral's beautiful coastline.

Robert prefers to work on location - in pastel, he can portray your favourite scene; life or photo.
